In 1993, Fortessa founders fell in love with the craft of European ceramics. This passion grew in the US, expanding worldwide. Headquartered in Ashburn, VA, Fortessa Tableware Solutions merged with German glassware company, Zwiesel Kristallglass, in 2022, cementing both entities’ 20-year long relationship and a presence across the global tableware space. .

Uniting in 2025 as Zwiesel Fortessa, the company markets products across six unique brands and has a longstanding flagship location, The Fortessa Store, located in Ashburn’s One Loudoun.
