Special Olympics Virginia, Loudoun (SOVAL) Polar Plunge 2017

Put on your brave—just don't forget your swimsuit—for the Northern VA Polar Plunge® Fest, where hundreds will dash into the icy Potomac. In addition to your icy dip, you can strut your stuff on the beach in your best Plunge costume, listen to the live band, or win some COOL door prizes!

The Festival will take place at Tim's Rivershore Restaurant & Crabhouse from 10 am to 4 pm. Registration opens at 10 am; the costume contest starts at 2 pm; and plunging begins around 3 pm (subject to tides). 

It's $100 to Plunge, but the more you raise, the COOLER the incentives! Students also are welcome to join us for the Cool School Challenge. Don't miss out on the COOLEST winter beach party in NOVA there is!

Parking and shuttles to the event are available at John Paul the Great High School,17700 Dominican Drive in Dumfries, for all plungers. There is not parking at the restaurant.
