Salute for Service 5K run/walk
The 5K is being held in honor of National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Month. Net proceeds will be provided to homeless shelters and organizations supporting the homeless in Loudoun and its surrounding counties. COURSE: Registrants will start & finish on the track inside the Bulldog Football and Track Stadium. Walkers are also welcome to participate (same course as the runners). Non-runner race observers are welcome to stay inside the stadium during the duration of the race or follow the race along the designated path. ABOUT THE RACE: Timing - The race will be timed using the Chronotrack electronic timing system managed by Commonwealth Race Management, Inc. Post Race - There will be refreshments for all participants. Vendors will also be present at the Fall Activities Festival. Results - Results will be posted immediately following the race at www.prraces.com Awards - Top 3 overall male and female finishers and Top male and female finisher in each age group.
