PolicyMaker Series | State of Innovation in Education


The Loudoun County Chamber is proud to host Loudoun County Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Eric Williams, and former VA Secretary of Education and Chair of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s K-12 Committee, Mr. Jim Dyke, for an in-depth look at the "State of Innovation in Education."

Accompanied by Andrew Davis, Principal at Round Hill Elementary School, and Mitchell Seipt, Dean at Stone Hill Middle School and the 2015 Loudoun County Teacher of the Year, Dr. Williams will discuss LCPS’ efforts to move past "teaching to the test" to focus on truly preparing students to make meaningful contributions to society as adults.

A well respected expert on education policy and the leader of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce's analysis of the business community's role in education reform, Jim Dyke will discuss the was the Loudoun business community can support LCPS' efforts to transform is educational model.
