PolicyMaker Series | Future of Loudoun's Workforce

The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce’s 2015 PolicyMaker Series examines the “Future of Loudoun’s Workforce.ʺ Millennials are already the largest generation in the U.S. workforce. Yet, attracting and keeping younger workers is among the biggest talent challenges facing many businesses today.

Featuring Heather Dlhopolsky, Chair of Montgomery County, Maryland’s Nighttime Economy Task Force and Kim Hart, Executive Director of the Windy Hill Foundation, and Dr. Tonya Neaves, Managing Director Centers on the Public Service, George Mason University, this panel discussion will look at the growing nationwide demand for urban centers, walk able neighborhoods and downtowns that offer the most networks, amenities and resources for a thriving lifestyle and what Loudoun County needs to do to create this sense of community that draws millennials.
