This workshop will provide communication tools and techniques to enable not for profit staff to better communicate their organization’s mission and values to prospective volunteers and donors.

David is a John Maxwell Team certified leadership speaker and coach. For 35 years David practiced leadership and coaching in the military, the commercial sector, and the U.S. Civil Service before deciding to become a leadership coach and speaker. His passion is speaking and writing about leading with Honesty, Integrity, and Trust (HIT Leadership®) based upon nearly four decades of both getting it right and getting it wrong.

David’s leadership experience includes over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and over 12 years in industry where he was a director at Dell, McDonald Bradley, and Veridian and a senior manager at General Dynamics. David currently works for the U.S. Navy as a cybersecurity executive.

The Loudoun Non-profit Academy

The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of the Non-profit Academy training and certificate series in partnership with Piedmont Community Foundation and Loudoun Cares.

Non-profit Academy attendees that complete 40 hours of Academy training over a three-year period earn a "Certified Non-profit Professionals" designation from the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.
