Lessons in Leadership with Washington Redskins Head Coach, Jay Gruden

Jay Gruden enters his third season with the Washington Redskins in 2016 after being named the 29th head coach in franchise history on January 9, 2014.

Under Gruden’s guidance, the 2015 Redskins earned the team’s 15th division title in team history and featured one of the most prolific passing attacks in franchise history, as quarterback Kirk Cousins set single-season team records for attempts (543), completions (379), passing yards (4,166) and 300-yard passing games (seven). Gruden’s offense also helped facilitate the emergence of third-year tight end Jordan Reed, who set franchise records for receptions (87) and receiving yards (952) by a tight end in a single season.

Joined by the legendary Larry Michael, voice of the Washington Redskins, Coach Gruden will discuss the key to his management style, his motivation techniques – getting the most out of people/employees – and his personal impression of Loudoun County as a place to live, work and play. Most importantly, Coach Gruden will talk about entering the 2016 season as defending NFC East Champs!
