Lansdowne Fall Beer Festival 2015

Jim Horsman, Area Managing Director at Lansdowne Resort, came up with the idea while enjoying a pint of locally brewed ale at Stonewalls:

“I was enjoying one of the locally crafted brews that we serve at the resort when it came to me that it would be a fun thing to host our local craft breweries so that everyone could taste just how great our Loudoun County craft beers are. I think our resort guests, our club members and our community would love a chance to sample an outstanding array of craft beers and learn about the many unique brewing processes! What better way to enjoy a crisp Fall weekend than with a brew in hand surrounded by some  of the region’s most knowledgeable brewers, live music, local food, friends, football and fun games. Now that is the perfect way to spend a Columbus Day Sunday, if you ask me!”

And with that, Lansdowne Fall Beer Fest of 2015 was born!

The festival, which will be from 11am till 4pm, will feature twelve brewers and craft brewery lovers from Loudoun County and the surrounding area. See the full list below for all craft breweries that will be sharing their brews with us:

Old Ox, Ocelot, Lost Rhino, Adroit Theory, Brothers Brewing, Old Bust Head, Blue Mountain, Flying Dog, Atlas, 3 Stars, South Street and DuClaw.

Festival goers are assured to have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of brews, and for the non-beer drinker (although, I assure you that everyone will find something they will love) there will be ciders, wine, and non-alcohol drinks to sample as well.

The festival will be held in Leesburg, VA at the Pavilion at Lansdowne Resort and the surrounding patio areas. In the garden patio we will be featuring the Jumpin’ Jupiter – local "rockin" band to keep you toe tapping all afternoon long. In the Pavilion itself, we will have several large screen televisions to make sure fantasy football players don’t miss a minute of the action.

There will also be amazing food from our chefs, and several local food trucks. A festival just isn’t a festival without beer, wine, food and sweets!

Food and Beverage tickets are being sold prior to the event through EventBrite and ticket sales will also be available the day of the event
