Green Business Initiative | Learn from the Leaders

National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) is a leader in sustainability in the Loudoun community. NRPA won both the Commercial Division and the Innovation Award in the 2016 Loudoun Green Business Challenge (now the Loudoun Sustainable Business Certification).

Join us to learn how they did it and how you can do it, too. The event will feature a tour of NRPA’s headquarters and beautiful native plant gardens along with information on the Great Urban Parks Campaign which won the Innovation Award. NRPA’s Great Urban Parks Campaign which uses green infrastructure projects to improve environmental and social outcomes in underserved communities.
